Judges First Choice
Ddc. convallariaeforme var. convallariaeforme Grower: S. Addison
Judges had no hesitation in nominating this plant as their pick for the best of all entered on the benches. It displayed well shaped fresh flowers on racemes around the entire plant. The delightful twists of the flowers on the stems makes this a very desirable one.
Judges Second Choice
Den. superbiens Grower: R. Mollee
This was a very good example of a quality Australian native hybrid. The shape was excellent showing very wide segments and the deep colour made it a very eye catching plant.
Judges Third Choice
Colm. Wildcat Grower: J. Lamont
A nicely presented plant with a good display of well shaped flowers. The attractive point of note was the labellums which did not display the usual twists which this hybrid tends to have.
Member’s Choice
Rsc. Taiwan Ruby ‘Sun #6’ Grower: R. Kerr
The members made this one their choice from all the benched plants . No doubt the clear bright yellow petals and sepals with the bright contrasting red labellum was the attraction to this plant.
